In the face of the energy crisis, the financial forecasting application HannaH sees its use booming

December 13, 2022, Liège - In order to help companies to face the energy crisis, Hanna-Solutions offers a web application allowing them to make financial simulations in order to better anticipate the future. The entrepreneur simply needs to enter his different hypotheses (revenues, costs, investments, ...) and he can then measure the impacts on his cash position and profitability. The use of the application is booming ! During the last 4 weeks, customers have realized 1.416 financial plans in Hanna-Solutions applications which is 132% more than last year at the same time which was already a year of strong growth.

An online application to stay on track financially

In recent years, various events like the Covid pandemic, Brexit, climate challenges, Ukraine-war or the energy-crisis have multiplied and put pressure on companies. The latest outbreak is the energy crisis that worries many entrepreneurs. In order to cope with wage indexation and rising energy prices, entrepreneurs want to know where they are headed.

By using the application developed by Hanna-Solutions, entrepreneurs will be able to anticipate and manage their businesses with confidence.

The recently launched version of the application is easy to use, intuitive and accessible to all entrepreneurs. The user only has to encode the different financial hypotheses: prices, number of customers, staff expenses, supplies, rent, investments, ... And after he can visualize the impacts on his cash position or on his profitability.

Hanna-Solutions, founded in 1989 in the bosom of the University of Liège already has more than 8,000 users, including prestigious names such as KPMG, SBB or UCM. Originally, the company was focusing on financial experts but now the company targets also SME’s.

Faced with multiple crises ? Manage your business with confidence

Following an analysis of Hanna-Solutions' database, the company found that users are making forecasts mainly following the rise in energy and commodity prices. These forecasts allow companies to surely consider the future of their business and to answer the following questions: should prices be increased? Should they lay off staff? Should they ask the bank for financing? etc.

Creating budgets through the application, will allow them to answer these questions and to anticipate the future.

Jérémy ERNST, manager of Avalanche de Saveurs: "I operate 2 ice cream shops and I was very concerned about the increase in the price of electricity. Indeed, as an ice cream shop, we have many refrigerators. Here are some of the questions I had: What happens if my energy bill goes from 800 € to 7,000 €? What price increase do I need to anticipate to compensate for the increase in my raw material supplies? By entering my data into the HannaH application, I was able to draw up my budget, answer my various questions and take the necessary measures to ensure the sustainability of my business.”

After Belgium, the next target is the neighboring countries

The ambition of the company is to double in size within 3 years. In 2023, the company wishes to expand internationally, first in neighboring countries such as France, Luxembourg and the Netherlands.

In order to insure its chances, Hanna-Solutions has joined the largest start-up incubator in Belgium: Start it @KBC, which has been convinced by the potential of the company.

It is possible to test the application for free and immediately for 7 days by visiting the company’s website: www.hanna-solutions.com.
